Kitchen Creek Falls

Happy August! Come join us for a beautiful morning hike near Pine Valley! We will be enjoying a wonderful hike to Kitchen Creek Falls. We are meeting earlier so we can beat the heat. This trail is kept in very good condition, has incredible views and ends at a refreshing creek. Come join us for a recharging and energizing hike after a week in the office. 

Important Information:

• Dogs are welcome to join us on this trail.
• Parking - There is parking right across the street from the trail head the address is, 32752 Old Hwy 80, Campo, CA 91906
• Where to Meet - We will be meeting at the beginning of the trail head.
• What to Bring - Bring as much water as you feel you need.

• Appropriate clothing/footwear for the weather - The weather is usually sunny with the temperature starting out mildly crisp and refreshing in the morning and becomes quite warm as the Sun gets higher. 
• Sun Protection - (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc.) - We love how beneficial the sun is for our health, but we still need to be mindful of its power to burn, please bring appropriate sun protection.
• Challenge Level - This is a moderate hike due to the length and incline. The trail is well marked and maintained. This is a portion of the PCT. 
• Things to be Mindful of - The temperature should be warm/moderate early in the morning and then will continue to get hotter as the sun gets higher in the sky. Arriving early so the group can stretch and hike together. If you arrive late and no one is at the trailhead, catch up!
