Ever since Covid, interacting with the IRS and FTB has become increasingly frustrating for both us and our clients. We’ll share practical approaches that have worked (or not worked), including:
- Best channels for getting timely responses
- Escalation strategies when normal routes fail
- Technology or third-party services that help reduce delays
- How we manage client expectations during long wait times
Come ready to share your firm’s experiences and tips so we can learn from each other and hopefully make this process less painful for everyone.

Intended Audience
The East Bay MAP committee (“Management of an Accounting Practice committee”) focuses on management issues confronting CPA firm owners, managers and prospective owner/managers. The committee meets monthly excluding March, April, July and Oct. The meetings are generally held on the first Friday morning of each month, from 8:30am to 9:30am.
